Sophia was the first company certified by Kanazawa University TLO (KUTLO) as a university in Kanazawa. The Incubation Laboratory at the university has offers a lot of support and is a great resource to have, when dealing with difficult environmental problems, tangible or intangible.
To satisfy demand in this field, working together with universities and their ventures has helped us get ahead of the pack. Researchers from various fields are available at any time to help solve problems, and we help each other to keep up with new technology, products and methods developed.

With the cooperation of the Department of Engineering, at Kawanishi Laboratory, Sophia created a new research lab in their Incubation Laborarory. To repay the Kanazawa University for its kindness and support, research information and results are offered to the university. The representative director of Sophia, Hodaka Ikeda was allowed to make the V.B.L (Venture Business Laboratory) because of this. Hodaka Ikeda is now working as a special duty professor in the laboratory.
